Registration Form

Worksheet

A key component of your Astronomy lab is to learn about and gain an appreciation for observing the night sky and astronomical objects.  As such, attending either a Clear Skies or Public Observing night is a requirement for all ASTR:1070 students.

You must register for the event of your choosing in advance.  If you do not, you will not receive all pertinent information regarding the observation session, and there will not be a worksheet printed out for you.

A day or so before the observation night, you will be sent an email confirming the details of your event. Alternatively, if the weather is poor, you may receive an email letting you know the event is cancelled. If the event does get cancelled, it is expected that you register for and plan to attend a second observation night. Furthermore, registration is capped at 30 students per event. For these reasons, it is important to make certain that you register sufficiently far enough in advance so that if a date is full or canceled, you still have time in the semester to attend a second night.
